Selection Criteria

In regards to project support, Swiss Music Export has set a criteria which enables it to select individual musicians or music groups. This implies evaluating the commercial and musical potential of each request received. This is done from studying the markets (or countries) targeted, in relation to a specific music genre and by taking into consideration the artists commercial appeal in terms of CD release's, distribution and tours, as well as the musician’s artistic potential, in terms of media presence and festival bookings.
